WHY GIVE?
Jesus' words in Matt. 6:19-21 tells us that the way we spend money shows what we value.
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where months and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Our budget perfectly reflects our church mission: To be rooted in God's word and reaching our neighbors and the nation with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
At Forest Hill, our Deacons handle our money with great integrity following the budget that has been established.
It is a joy to see how our sacrificial giving and tithes are used in both big and small ways!
